Thursday February 27 was the Inaugural Friends of the Animals Luncheon at the Italo-Australian Club - Clear Island Waters. More than 200 women, many who had previously attended the Chicks@Lunch events at the Southport Yacht Club, now enjoyed a delightful lunch to support the Friends of the Animal Welfare League of Queensland. Accompanied by lovely music by Lola Talbot we caught up on what's been happening on the Gold Coast since December with fashion and jewellery on sale. Our Guest Luncheon Speaker was Denise Bradley, the CEO of the Animal Welfare League of Queensland.
