A Winter's Tale - The Lord Mayor's Charitable Trust Gala Ball in Brisbane

What an  beautiful and elegant evening for a worthy cause!

It certainly was an exciting winter's tale at The Lord Mayor's Charitable Trust Gala Ball held in the Brisbane Town Hall on Saturday night. Over 300 people enjoyed cocktails and a delicious 3-course dinner with fine wines to raise important funds for The Lord Mayor's Charitable Trust. The decor, dancing and evening's entertainment were spectacular - all set in a magical winter wonderland.

For more than 50 years, the Trust’s fundraising efforts have improved the wellbeing of the most marginalised, vulnerable members of the Brisbane community.

Established in the 1960s, the Trust continues the good work of the Lord Mayor whose mission is to improve the liveability of all Brisbane's residents.

The Trust’s work supports charities that assist people suffering from disability, homelessness, mental illness, drug or alcohol addiction, trauma, abuse or neglect. Importantly Every dollar donated to the Trust is re-given. Corporate partners, community groups and individual benefactors are confident donating to the Trust because of its ability to identify charities in genuine need of support.

CharityDOs is certainly looking forward to the 2016 Lord Mayor's Charitable Trust Gala Ball.
