Leukaemia Foundation Queensland Gold Coast High Tea

The Leukaemia Foundation Queensland Gold Coast high tea this afternoon attracted over 100 men and women. Today's event was the final fundraiser by Tony and Julia Wilkins who have raised much need funds for the Leukaemia Foundation o9f Queensland over many years, and also Tony's 80th Birthday celebration.

The Leukaemia Foundation of Queensland is the only Queensland charity dedicated to improving the lives of patients with all types of blood cancers, including leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma to help more people  survive a blood cancer diagnosis and live a full life.

The delicious high tea with a British theme of red, white and blue included a glass of bubbles on arrival followed by delicious finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones with jam and cream, mouth-watering little tarts amd delicate little fancy cakes - fresh tea and coffee. We all had lots of fun, friendship and fundraising with fantastic raffle.
