the Kitten D'amour & Attraxionz Vintage Fashion Show

I would like to invite you to a spectacular vintage Fashion Show in support of women and girls suffering domestic violence, hosted by Soroptimist International Moreton North Inc.

I’m thrilled to announce that the designer labels, Kitten D'amour & Attraxionz will showcase their 2015 Autumn Collection. The 1940’s vintage inspired elegance of Kitten D'amour designs with the exquisite handcrafted jewellery of Attraxionz in the same room! WOW!

The host of this event is a local women’s organisation - Soroptimist International. Soroptimist International is a volunteer organisation of professional women, who use their skills and expertise to help and support disadvantaged women and girls in our community, and especially women and girls who are suffering domestic violence and abuse.

Did you know that in Australia, one in four women and girls will experience some form of domestic violence or abuse in their lifetime, one woman dies each week from domestic violence with hundreds more injured and abused.  Only one in six women will report abuse to the police.  Abused women stay silent, feel ashamed, feel trapped.

Soroptimist International believes it’s imperative to empower our women and girls, through education, to believe in their self-worth, to feel confident and to be assertive. We need to teach them to recognise the signs of an abusive relationship and to feel confident in walking away before it becomes violent.

This will be a most elegant evening where we have the opportunity to dress up in our most glamorous vintage outfit whilst helping the less fortunate women in our community.
