Leukaemia Morning Tea at Emerald Lakes

The Leukaemia Foundation on the Gold Coast held a delightful and well attended morning tea at the Emerald Lakes on Friday August 24. The Tea Party included the Lady Mayoress of the Gold Coast Ruth Tate. The view across the nearby lake was very relaxing and the many women I met at the morning tea were very much enjoying the morning and raising funds for the Leukaemia Foundation. I met women from Surfer’s Paradise and many other Gold Coast suburbs. The door prizes proved to be my lucky day as I won a set of nice towels in just right for our bathroom. Laura Stokes, the Leukaemia Foundations Regional Events coordinator for the Gold Coast, has a wide range of fund raising opportunities in the offing.
