Wednesday January 9 saw the Magic Millions Sparkling Ladies Luncheon at the Palazzo Versace in Main Beach on the Gold Coast. Over 200 ladies and at least 6 men enjoyed the sumptuous lunch to support the charity SIDS & Kids. Our Luncheon Hostess was the dynamic Karen Phillips from SIDS & Kids. After cocktails on arrival we lunched on either corn fed chicken or olive crusted reef fish followed by a "Signature Palazzo Versace Torte Surprise". Notable attendees included Damien Anthony Rossi, the Sunday Brisbane Courier Mail's "Man About Town", Ladies in Racing Magazine Editor Cathryn Meredith and Dale Olssson, owner of the famous "The Hat Box" in the Brisbane Archade selling beautiful hats and fascinators designed by many millinery talents.

It was a very glamourous affair with stunning hats and fascinators everywhere. Amanda wore a gold, orange and white "Covers" dress, pearls and Robert Robert gold and orange stilettos. The highlight of the event was the fabulous fashion parade, including womens and mens apparel. Really lovely dresses from George Gross with some in Emerald green - seems to be an "in" colour for summer and autumn. Tomorrow is the famous Magic Million "Hats and High Tea" at the Marriott Hotel Surfers Paradise - so get ready for more displays of fabuous hats and fascinators adorning elegantly styled ladies.
