Dinner with a Difference for Spina Bifida Foundation Victoria

You're invited to a Dinner with a Difference - Spina Bifida Foundation of Victoria (SBFV) http://www.sbfv.org.au

To support our work into the future, we are holding a fundraising dinner – with a difference. It is rich in folate, a luscious micronutrient that is good for everyone. The carefully selected menu will provide a meal that you can dream about, but don’t actually get to eat – just pay for. This will raise funds for Spina Bifida Foundation of Victoria (SBFV) http://www.sbfv.org.au . SBFV is an independently funded, dynamic and professional not-for-profit organisation dedicated to helping families and individuals living with spina bifida. Since 1995 SBFV has been providing information, services and programs to help people with spina bifida to lead full, active and independent lives.

The most frequently occurring, permanently disabling birth defect, spina bifida is broadly described as the incomplete formation of the spine and spinal cord. Folate is a B vitamin that plays a vital role before and during pregnancy. It has the power to protect babies from life-threatening birth defects of the brain and spine, especially spina bifida.
