On Friday 25 August 2017, Micah Projects will hold the 14th Annual Moonlight Magic Dinner Dance in the Plaza Ballroom at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre – Brisbane’s premier venue for gala events.

The Moonlight Magic Dinner Dance (MMDD) is a community event where guests include business leaders, residents of Level 3 Supported Accommodation, elected officials, formerly homeless people and a broad range of people from the community, nearly half of all who experience economic disadvantage and social isolation on a daily basis. This event breaks down barriers, improves self-esteem and seeks to build a more connected Brisbane community through the enjoyment of dressing up, fine food, music and dance.

The event has grown beyond expectations from 200 attendees in 2004 to an expected 800 this year. For half of those attending the dinner, their attendance is made possible through not only the generosity of others who subsidise the cost of these tickets, but support from sponsors and supporters who make this gift of opportunity and experience possible.
