Magicians are mysterious. During this month’s Chicks@Lunch we were entertained by a magician who did some really amazing tricks right at the table! What a fun lunch! The Gold Coast Chicks@Lunch monthly luncheon at the Southport Yacht Club is a great way to meet other women on the Gold Coast and support the Animal Welfare League of Queensland Inc. More than 100 women enjoyed the September lunch with wine or champagne and coffee or tea. This month’s luncheon on Wednesday September 26 included the sale of hats, clothes and other items for charity. Again I sat with a delightful table of women from Paradise Point, Sovereign Islands and many other Gold Coast suburbs. The Chicks@Lunch monthly get-together, founded by Rosie Thompson (pictured above), includes a different theme and activities. I’m looking forward to the October Chicks@Lunch!.
