New Hope Appeal - Prince Charles Hospital Foundation QLD

Six years ago, Kate Rootsey was hoping for a life saving lung transplant. This year, Kate and her husband hoped their tiny premature baby would make it out of intensive care. Their most precious moments were the few minutes a day they were allowed to cuddle her.

Miracle Molly, the first baby born to a Queensland woman after a lung transplant, is now eight months old and hasn’t lost any of the fighting spirit that saw her literally kick her way out into the world. Through medical research, we're creating hope for families like the Rootseys.

And we’re creating the next generation of research too, through our new investigator grants. Already we’ve helped over 80 young researchers start their journey to make a difference in the lives of people like Kate.

Hope: it’s the most powerful thing in the world. Please make a donation to help us create new hope.
