Join us for the 2017 Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal hosted by Whittlesea City Salvation Army Chairman Paul Seidl By joining in on this inaugural event we hope to assist The Salvation Army in continuing the amazing work they do in: Family welfare assistance Refuge for women and children in crisis Homeless shelters Youth drop-in centres and support programs Emergency and disaster relief Drug and alcohol rehabilitation Counselling Family tracing Bereaved by suicide support Disability programs Employment services and training programs With cases homelessness and domestic violence rising dramatically in The City of Whittlesea over the past year it has become more important than ever to help this unit break the cycle of homelessness in our area.
Please come along and support an event that will have a direct impact on the lives of countless Australians. This exciting event will kick off at 7pm at the famous Melbourne venue Bobby McGees. The event will include a delicious array of canapé food throughout the night, live performances, raffles of generously donated items, speeches and presentations of the amazing work the Salvation Army accomplishes; all accompanied by a resident DJ to help everyone party the night away. This Cocktail Fundraiser will be a great night out for all, so get together and buy your tickets with your group of friends, co workers and family members to support the Salvo’s and your local area. 100% of all proceeds made will be donated to the Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal. Extra Information Access to Bobby McGees can be found outside on 186 Exhibition Street where security guards will check your name off the guest list. Closest parking available is located in the Rydges Hotel Carpark. Drinks will be available at bar prices.
