May 25 Stead Wildlife Foundation Fundraiser - Scott Sisters At The Australian Museum - Sydney

Join the Stead Wildlife Foundation for an illuminating evening inspired by the work of Harriet and Helena Scott. Following a walk through the exhibition and a complimentary drink, watch acclaimed actresses Megan Drury and Lucy Goleby bring Harriet and Helena Scott to life in the short, performed reading Through Their Eyes.

Drawn from the Scott sisters’ own correspondences and accompanied live by musician Emma Rayner, it reveals the sisters’ eccentric adolescence on Ash Island (near Newcastle), their extraordinary scientific achievements and their at times wonderful and tragic lives. Following this, special guests discuss the unique role Ash Island has played in the creative minds of artists from the Scott Sisters through to the present day.
