Most people don't realise that this is happening everyday to 21 million people; yet only 1% will be rescued. Imagine the rest, and the gifts and possibilities their lives could be. According to AFP, from 2003 to June 2015 received 588 referrals for slavery-related and human trafficking offenses. Between 2014 to 2015 the AFP received 119 new referrals, an increase from 70 new referrals shows growing number of trafficking cases in Australia. This might seem like an insurmountable issue but there are ways you can help.
