Shannons Take Your Tops Off for Breast Cancer Research - Has Ended
DO Details
The popular static car show at the Parliament House Lawns in Hobart will again be held on Saturday 22 October 2016. This event has been a major success, both as a popular free community event for the public to engage at, and also as part of the PINKTOBER calendar of events in Hobart assisting raising funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
The event features the popular Lord Mayor’s trophy, the TasPlates People’s Choice prize, and the Shannons most prized car award.
This car display, now celebrating the fifth year since inception, is open to entries from all class of cars, from vintage through to modern, and is free to participate in, and free to attend.
In total this event has raised over $14000 locally and a combined total of over $25000 nationally for the National Breast Cancer Foundation since it began in Hobart in October 2012.
The event has become one that Shannons supports nationally and now hosts across other states throughout Australia.
The event in Hobart will this year also have a fashion aspect, with attendees being encouraged to dress to the era or to complement the cars on display. There will be prizes for best dressed attendees.
To register your vehicle please contact Rod Belbin on rodney_belbin@shannons.com.au or phone Shannons on 0408 214 209
