Sydney Trish Masquerade MS Ball Success for Multiple Sclerosis Research

The Trish MS Masquerade Ball held at Hilton Sydney on 12th September featured ‘The brothers Gilbert’. Kieran Gilbert, Chief Political Reporter for Sky News was Master of Ceremonies, Tim Gilbert, Sports Presenter Channel 9 and Bill Gilbert, who was Master of Ceremonies at the Foundation’s inaugural Ball in 2001. The spirit of the Ball was upheld with guests wearing all manner of masks and generously supporting MS research, making a contribution towards Kissing Goodbye to MS.

Almost 500 guests filled the Ballroom and were treated to an inspiring performance by Principal Flute, Sydney Symphony Janet Webb and associate artist (pianist) Jocelyn Fazzone.  Guest Speaker, A/Prof Michael Barnett spoke about Australia punching above its weight in the field of MS research and of the amazing projects and programs being undertaken in Australia.  Every dollar raised at The Trish MS Masquerade Ball will be placed into research, with the Trish Foundation being totally staffed by a team of hard-working volunteers.

Pictured at the Ball are Tim, Bill and Kieran Gilbert.
