Altitude Shift Abseil Challenge: Go Over the Edge to Support Foster Families - Anglicare Victoria

Anglicare Victoria is searching for 300 courageous adventure seekers to abseil down a Melbourne skyscraper to raise funds for children in foster care.

Altitude Shift, on Thursday 30 April, Friday 1 and Saturday 2 May, gives people the chance to test their nerve on St James building in Bourke St, while raising funds for Victorian foster children.

The event is one of the most adventurous ways in which people can help a child in need. Altitude Shift will take you out of your comfort zone.

All money raised will go towards programs that create positive, lasting change in the lives of Victoria’s most vulnerable children.

Anglicare Victoria aims to raise at least $200,000 from the ‘bucket list’ experience.

Do whatever you can to help you raise money – if you think dressing up as Superman will work, then do it.

Altitude Shift is open to anyone over 16 (with parental permission under 18), regardless of shape, fitness or ability. It’s being run in conjunction with Zenith Events, an adventure/ abseil company with a 100 per cent safety record. Qualified abseil professionals will be on-site and will prepare and guide each participant on the day.

To participate in this exciting fundraiser call Anglicare Victoria on 03 9412 6157 or email altitudeshift@anglicarevic.org.au
